Right, but you’re not just anyone. I guess I just never really thought of you as a yoga kind of guy.

Well, I have to say that I’m really not a yoga guy. I don’t foresee partaking in that again.

It would be a fascinating view for me though, to be quite honest. I would’ve loved to see the great Harvey Specter do some yoga.

Heard Harvey and Donna went out to do some yoga. Really curious as to how that went.

Let’s be honest, Harvey and yoga don’t really go together.

Oh please. A little yoga never hurt anyone.

Right, but you’re not just anyone. I guess I just never really thought of you as a yoga kind of guy.

It could have easily been one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever witnessed.

But it turns out he wasn’t that bad at it.

Well, that’s wonderful to hear.

…was it really not funny, though? I can’t picture it without laughing, to be honest.

Anonymous asked,

How are you?

I’m lovely. The office has been really quiet lately so I finally had a little time for myself. Thank you for asking. Who are you, though?

Jessica raised an eyebrow. “Yes, Harvey, take Donna. I know it’s the city of love and you two don’t have a thing,” she paused, trying to read the expression in his face. “but don’t you think Donna deserves a break? I’d ask you to take Mike but you and I both know what happened last time you were in Paris with a man.” she said, trying to control the soft laugh threatening to slip out.

Harvey breathed a sigh of relief that he had hoped Jessica wouldn’t catch. However, hardly anything slipped past her unnoticed. Harvey was still processing his feelings and didn’t need any intervening. “Yes, she works hard,” he nodded in assent. He couldn’t help but roll his eyes at Jessica’s comment.

Jessica laughed quietly at his eye roll. “I have things to do and you have a case to close. So, unless you want to stay and talk about your reaction when I mentioned Donna,” She pointed at the door, though she secretly hoping he’d stay to talk. “Leave.”

“That is exactly why I called you here,” Jessica took a stack of files from her table and handed it to the senior partner. She rummaged through her desk and pulled out an envelope, placing it on top of the stack already in Harvey’s hands. “You can take the week off after you win every single one of those damn cases.” she gestured to the envelope. Inside were two plane tickets to Paris.

“Oh, and Harvey, take Donna with you.”

Harvey gave a slight groan. Rather reluctantly, he took the large stack from her. It was rather weighty but he was still confident that it wouldn’t be too difficult to go through them; especially if he delegated the work to his associate. “Winning is easy for me. You know that, Jessica. I’m certain that it was you who proclaims I’m the best closer in New York City,” he said with a cocky grin. Eyeing the envelope and upon hearing what she said, he eyed her a bit doubtfully. Clearing his throat, he asked, “Take Donna with me? To Paris?”

Jessica raised an eyebrow. “Yes, Harvey, take Donna. I know it’s the city of love and you two don’t have a thing,” she paused, trying to read the expression in his face. “but don’t you think Donna deserves a break? Jessica Pearson often doubted the things she’s done to be able to be possessive of the firm. Her firm. Yet, at 6am on a Saturday morning, she found herself walking to her office, still somewhat half asleep, with her name plastered on her door.

Jessica sighed at the amount of work that had piled up on top of her desk. She knew she needed help and help is what she’ll be getting. She turned to face the glass doors to observe. Everyone at the firm was already busy attending to the day’s work. Paralegals were running off to the library, pissed off associates with pro bono cases were everywhere, Louis Litt seemed glued to his seat doing paperwork, and Harvey Specter was - as always - playing with one of his balls…baseballs. Jessica thought Harvey looked way too comfortable. She called for Donna and asked her to tell Harvey to come see her. Then, she waited.

Harvey was no stranger to early mornings or long days. That day was no different. However, he was feeling fairly relaxed simply sitting in his office, baseball in his hand. But when Donna said Jessica wanted to see him, he hardly wasted anytime. There were few people he’d give his time too and Jessica was one of them. It wasn’t solely because she was his boss but also because she was a confidante and someone he admired and respected. That wasn’t necessarily something he openly admitted but he was certain that it was understood. Harvey stood from his seat and headed to her office. Sauntering into her office, he said, “It looks like you have your hands full.” As he spoke, he gestured to the work that had seemed to begun to overwhelm her desk.

"That is exactly why I called you here," Jessica took a stack of files from her table and handed it to the senior partner.
